What is Creative Liberty?

Welcome to Creative Liberty…the blog, the business and the idea.

Creative Liberty the blog is a place to sift, sort, discuss and remix news and opinions about the creative process. As a professional writer, editor and multimedia producer, I’ve spent years examining my own creativity and orchestrating the creative output of others. As a creativity coach, I’m interested in helping artists and others create as effortlessly as possible.

Creative Liberty the business is my creativity coaching practice. I work with clients one on one, will be presenting workshops on creativity-related topics, and write articles about the creative process. My goal is to help my clients reach new levels of creative success, as they define success.

Creative Liberty the idea is the driving force behind both this blog and my practice. My take on creativity is that far from being mysterious, the creative process follows a number of established “laws of nature.” While the application of these laws is individual, it is possible to exercise one’s innovative nature in a way that makes creativity flow easily, and regularly.

Please join me on this expedition into the nature of creativity. In the coming weeks, I’ll be blogging on my approach to unleashing one’s creative momentum, as well as highlighting the best the web and blogosphere have to offer on the creative journey.
