Earlier this year, I had a delightful podcast conversation with Patrick Ross, a writer who is the author of The Artist’s Road, a blog that discusses what it means to live “the art-committed life.” I find myself frequently nodding in agreement when I read his posts, since they so often resonate with me, and I have re-posted more than one link that Patrick has found and shared with his readers.
Last summer, Patrick kicked-off his blog with what I would term a worthy project, in the form of a cross-country road trip in which he visited 35 states to interview artists about why creativity was so important to their life and what it takes to live as an artist. In the process, he grew and evolved as a writer himself, and came home a changed man.
